Administration
Alex Bundick
As Billing and Special Projects Manager, Alex Bundick handles a multitude of duties, including patient accounts. She holds an associates degree in Business Administration. Bundick's skills are enhanced by her continuous professional development, including attending workshops on such topics as "Coding and Reimbursement", and through participation with the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators.
During her leisure time, she enjoys many activities, though her favorite is spending time with her husband Ryan, and daughter Emma.
Alex joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in December 2002.

Amie Brown
Amie joined our team in August of 2021. She was born and raised in Ohio and moved to the Eastern Shore in 2015. She has over 7 years of scheduling experience and over 10 years in customer service.
She is a big Ohio Buckeye fan and loves spending time with friends and family fishing, cooking, and going to the beach.

Detra Saffold
Detra Saffold is an Administrative Director. She is one of only 19 candidates nationwide who successfully completed the COPM examination in 2005. Long considered the pinnacle of state-of-the-art knowledge, the COPM credential supports her personal dedication to patient-focused administration of Chesapeake Bay ENT.
Saffold, an experienced professional, ran an otolaryngology practice for another physician in Portland, OR before coming to Virginia. She is a member of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators (AOA), and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
Leisure time is spent with her favorite people, husband Scott, son Jacob and daughter Josephine. An avid scrapbooker, she also enjoys listening to audiobooks on her commute.
Detra Saffold believes that state-of-the-art medical care should be balanced in a caring and compassionate manner. She supports the continuous professional development of the staff and works to ensure that Chesapeake Bay ENT delivers the best in medical care to its patients.
Detra and her husband, Scott, started Chesapeake Bay ENT in August 2001.

Donna Speidel
Donna Speidel joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in April 2021. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to the Eastern Shore in 2015. She brings over 35 years of experience in medical billing.
In her spare time, she can be found working in her garden or unwinding at the beach. She also enjoys cooking with her husband and entering sweepstakes (especially when she wins). Donna has two daughters and grandkids she's crazy about.

Emily joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in August of 2018. She has many years of medical billing experience and enjoys helping our patients in finding billing solutions in a timely and efficient manner. Emily is an excellent addition to our team.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son Logan and family.

Emily joined the Chesapeake Bay ENT family in August of 2017. She is the mother of two boys, ages 18 and 22.

Erica Marshall joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in May of 2021. She was born and raised on the Eastern Shore. Erica has over 10 years of Customer Service experience.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her daughter going to parks, baking, and cooking up new dinner recipes for her daughter and boyfriend.

Katie was born and raised in Southampton County. Katie has spent the majority of her career working in various roles within the medical field. Katie values ensuring that all patients receive an excellent customer experience.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Jeff and Chocolate Lab, Brylee. Katie joined CBENT in April 2016.

Cindy Potter
As Office Manager, Cindy is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily office operations, handling patient accounts, and supervising staff.
A lifelong resident of the Franklin/Southampton County area, prior to joining CBENT, Cindy spent 20 years working in customer service and administrative roles, the majority of that time, in the medical field. She brings that experience to CBENT to ensure that your overall office visit will be a smooth one and is here to assist you in any facet of the practice.
Cindy enjoys spending leisure time with her husband, Tommy, family, and friends at Lake Gaston! Cindy joined CBENT in March 2010.

Megan Farmer
Meet Megan. She was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, and currently resides in Zuni, VA for the last 13 years. She got her B.S. in Biology at ODU. Previously, she worked in the ER as a scribe for two years before teaching high school science for one year. She also coached volleyball for 7 years.
Megan loves sports, going to the beach and the mountains. Halloween is her favorite holiday. She also has one dog and six cats.

Samantha started with the company in 2014 as a Personal ENT Coordinator. She has continued to grow her career with Chesapeake Bay ENT by becoming the PEC training manager, and most recently as the office manager of the Town Center location. As an office manager, she is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily office operations, handling patient accounts, and supervising staff.
When she is not in the office she spends her time with her family and friends. She can often be found shopping or at the beach.

Williana is originally from the Dominican Republic. She came to the USA in January 2008.
Williana is a certified medical assistant who joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in 2014. As Office Manager, she is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily office operations, handling patient accounts, and supervising staff.
Williana enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include dancing, going to the movies, swimming, and photography.

Melanie is a vital part of the CBENT family. She started as a Personal ENT Coordinator and has now added Allergy Technician to her skillset.
When Melanie isn't working you can usually find her out and about with her daughter Madison. During her leisure time, she enjoys lounging by the pool, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Melanie joined CBENT in August of 2008.

Alyshia is currently enrolled at Norfolk State University as an English major with a concentration in Speech Pathology. Prior to joining CBENT, she gained experience in various administrative and leadership roles.
In her free time, she enjoys singing, dancing, outdoor activities, and spending time with her son, Caliel. Alyshia joined CBENT in November 2016.

Ashleigh is originally from Northern Virginia. She comes to us as a former Medical Assistant and former Clinical Technician at INOVA Fairfax Medical Hospital. She joined CBENT in 2022.

As a Personal ENT Coordinator (PEC), Ashlin’s daily tasks include transcribing and assisting the providers with patients, procedures, and examinations. She has a passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service to her patients.
In her spare time, she likes to be out on the boat with her dog. She enjoys bonfires, BBQ’s and spending quality time with her family. Ashlin joined CBENT in August 2018.

Carly joined CBENT in 2023. When she is not working on schoolwork for her master's degree, you can find her spending time at the beach with her service dog, Bleu, and her husband, Hunter, watching a good crime show.

As a personal ENT coordinator at Chesapeake Bay ENT Crystal is an integral part of our daily operations. She has over 15 years of healthcare experience. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to, assisting the providers with patient visits, office procedures, and transcribing patient records. Crystal is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures and assisting with in-office sinus procedures.
Crystal was born and raised in Southampton County, VA. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Savannah, son Gage, and husband Frank.

Meet Holly, a Personal ENT Coordinator. She is an active baseball mom to a handsome little boy named Tanner. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with her son.

Jeana Horner
As a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, Jeana provides hearing testing and helps to aid hearing loss. She is committed to improving the quality of life for people on the Eastern Shore by enhancing their ability to communicate. She helps serve the community by providing complete audiometric evaluations, hearing instruments, and hearing rehabilitation.
Leisure time is mostly spent with her son Mason but she also enjoys activities such as fishing, hunting, or boating.

Joa came to the Norfolk area 4 years ago for school. While attending Norfolk State University she also competed in their D1 softball program. Along with claiming her B.S. in Health Service Management she also claimed a few school records!
Joa likes to spend her free time going on adventures, watching movies, and doing art with her best friend/daughter Catalina.

Kaelee O'Neal
Kaelee is new to Virginia Beach but has been a Virginia resident for several years. She comes to us as an emergency medical technician and former patient care tech at Riverside Regional Emergency Department.
Kaelee loves to make others laugh and go the extra mile in any way possible for her patients. Kaelee joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in 2022.
The duties of a personal ENT coordinator incorporate both the administrative and clinical sides of the office. Kaelee's tasks include, enthusiastically greeting patients, accurately documenting medical histories, and assisting physicians with daily procedures.

Kameron is originally from Norfolk, VA, but has lived all over Virginia. He came to us from Gainesville, VA. Kameron joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in 2018.
As a Personal ENT Coordinator and Balloon Sinus Dilation Coordinator, Kameron is passionate about his job and an integral part of our daily operations. His responsibilities include obtaining a patient's medical history, fulfilling prescriptions per the direction of the provider, transcribing and assisting the providers, coordinating and carrying out all aspects of our surgery pre-operative procedures, and scheduling.
Kameron enjoys spending time with his loved ones and binge-watching Netflix TV shows.

Lindsay Lanier
As a Personal ENT Coordinator at CBENT, Lindsay is an integral part of our daily operations. She has over 8 years of healthcare experience and over 3 years of insurance medical billing.
Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the providers with patient visits and office procedures, transcribing patient records, obtaining authorizations, and scheduling a variety of patient tests. Lindsay is a patient advocate and is dedicated to their care and ensuring there is always an open line of communication.
Lindsay was born and raised in Southampton County, VA. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son, Rylan, and husband, Rick. She also enjoys helping others with fundraisers as well as leading them. A country girl at heart, she loves hunting, running dogs, fishing, and being outside. Lindsay joined our team in November 2017.

Olivia is an Eastern Shore native. She loves watching movies and going to new places. She joined Chesapeake Bay ENT in 2021.
